IFC Recruitment Fair
Friday, August 26th 6-9pm
Location: Iowa Memorial Union (125 N Madison St.) - 2nd Floor Ball Room
Description: We will have 4-6 members representing our chapter at the Interfraternal Council Recruitment Fair which kicks off the start to fall recruitment. Potential new members are able to talk with all of the different fraternities on campus and gather more information about what Greek life is all about. There will be sign in sheets where interested students can put their information.
Kappa Sigma House - First Recruitment Event
Saturday, August 27th 12-4pm
Location: 716 N Dubuque St. Iowa City, IA 52242
Description: Come enjoy some pizza with all of the Kappa Sigma brothers at our newley renovated house. The house is located on N Dubuque St. just a few blocks north of campus. This will be a great opportunity to meet more members and have some good conversations.
Summit
Monday, August 29th 6-9pm
Location: 10 S Clinton St. Iowa City, IA 52240
Description: Monday evening will be spent at Summit in the heart of downtown. We are hoping to have the porch directly across the street from the Pentacrest as well as a section in the lower level of Summit. This will be a great chance to ask any questions you may have and continue to strengthen the bonds you have built with Kappa Sigma brothers.
Preference Night
Wednesday, August 30th 6-9:30pm
Location: Invite Only
Description: On the final night of fall recruitment, we plan on having a nice formal dinner. This night will be when potential new members will be offered a bid to join our fraternity, and they will then make a decision on Tuesday. This night is considered invite only and will be available only to those who are exteremely interested in joining Kappa Sigma.
College Green Park
Sunday, August 28th 12-4pm
Location: 600 E College St. Iowa City, IA 52242
Description: We are planning on grilling hot dogs and hamburgers at College Green Park on the edge of Iowa City. There will be yard games, football, frisbee, and other outdoor activities for interested students and members to play. This is a chance to get outside, have some fun, and show off a little athletic ability!
